Emotional turbulence is experienced within every one of us. In two of the photos, I desaturated them and printed them out to add scribbles of the three primary colors, blue, red, and yellow.
The painted eye symbolizes how we first see violent turbulence shown through the colors bright colours and violent scribbles. This is how we first encounter turbulence, through our eyes, being exposed by corruption and destruction.
In the second photo, there is a girl where I Photoshopped to be floating using a medium camera angle. This demonstrates how the turbulence we see can lead to it corrupting our wellbeing and emotions. Our body and the way we start to act get overtaken by this emotional turbulence we are exposed to, lifting our positivity and spirituality away from our normality.
The third photo has a central focus on the glass globe where I desaturated the background. Inside the glass, the surrounding is upside down but is coloured. This depicts our mentality when we are exposed to turbulence. It shows how although our mentality may be turned upside down and our surrounding thoughts become negative and somber, we still have the ability to change this emotional turbulence and allow growth within our minds if we think in the right way.
