Written Statement

Being a teenager brings a torrent of new feelings. The ups and downs of these emotions can be difficult for many to traverse. I wanted to capture the clarity that can eventuate after an unsettled period of life. The cooling of emotions, the washing away of fear. Using physical turbulence in the form a of cold waterfall to cancel emotional turbulence. The darkness of emotion versus the brightness of youth.

I used a Samsung S20 to capture these images. Photo 1: 1/3200 sec. f/1.5 4.32mm ISO 100 Photo 2: 1/100 sec. f/2.4 6mm ISO 50. Photo 3: 1/1600 sec. f/1.5 4.32mm. Adobe Lightroom Mobile for post-processing.
