Anxiety is unpredictable, confusing and overwhelming. It is hard to see clearly when fear is dominating your senses, messing up your sense of what’s real and what’s not. The crazy thing is that whilst that emotional storm can be raging on the inside, it is invisible from the outside. You learn to mask it to get by. If I could show you what anxiety feels like it would be like these images.
Drowning Can’t Breathe Silent Scream (F8.0 1/250s 4.50mm). Out of Control Be Calm Be Calm Be Calm This Turbulence Will Pass (F8.0 1/640 4.50mm). Washed Up Spat Out (F8.0 1/640 4.50mm). I used my Olympus TG-6 on underwater wide to capture these images. I felt high contrast black and white better represents the starkness of anxiety for this portfolio. LightRoom mobile app for post-production.
