Written Statement

My name is Phoebe Schmitt and I’m in grade one. I love making art and playing with science. I showed turbulence using science and art. I put baking soda and blue food colouring on a white plate in the sink then I poured vinegar on it. When I added vinegar, it exploded, making turbulence. The food colouring and light added art and shows the turbulence. The photos show how the turbulence got less over time as the bubbles got less, as did the white of the plate. The first photo is my favourite – it looks like a planet in a galaxy. I loved this and science is a great way to make turbulence!
