Bio

Mark has worked in the film and TV industry for 25 years as a producer, director, camera operator, editor and sound designer. Most of this work has been at the ABC on drama, comedy and documentary programs.

For the arts department, he produced segments featuring artists, curators, galleries and musicians – from Gilbert and George to the Bollywood film festival, and filming in locations as diverse as Alice Springs and Cape Town. He has worked on the cinematography for Inside Art, an independent series filmed in all the major galleries in Melbourne; produced and directed documentaries Nathalia: Art of the Possible, about the development of art in a regional Victorian town and Can Art Stop A Bullet: William Kelly’s Big Picture, a feature-length film about the power of art to stop violence and war.
