Written Statement

All of my photos are taken from a special place in my heart. They are close to the sea near the south coast of South Australia. One of them is bright and colourful showing the creative side of nature. The other photo shows that things can be made beautiful with time. For the third entry, it ties a knot through perspective, making you feel twisted in its strings.

Wood:
With patience and time, old doesn’t always mean ugly. It can mean much more than that. You don’t know where it’s been but I can guarantee you it travelled through the depths of the sea and far, far away to a place it calls home. It’s now here for you to marvel. I took this photo and did some minor edits.

Plant:
When you’ve had a bad day, sometimes all you need is a bright colourful photo to cheer you up. It brings light and joy to those who view it. Tooty fruity is the colour of its core, and with some dark spaces it’s unstoppable. The pattern of this photo is eye-catching. As well, this had minor edits.

Rope:
When troubles occur a slithery snake is in sight. It tangles you in its strings, it knots you with a twist and wraps you tight to make you feel as though it’s turned into a rope. The snake has let go now and a boat is waiting for you out at sea. You carefully wind the rope around the pier ready for an adventure far from here. This is what I think about when I see this photo. Like the other photos it has minor edits.
