David King

Bio

David King is an international award-winning independent filmmaker and video artist who also dabbles in experimental photography. For several years, he was a photojournalist with newspapers and magazines in Australia, New Zealand, England and the USA, with over 500 photos published in newspapers and magazines in Australia alone. Having largely (but not totally) retired from the commercial scene, he makes experimental art films and video art, and tries to find new ways of seeing things as a photographer. He seeks photos with something interesting to say, an unusual technique, or an edge that no one else has.
