About the ATOM Photo Comp
The ATOM Photo Comp is an initiative of Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM). It provides Australian and New Zealand student and adult photographers with the opportunity to submit a set of three (3) photographs adhering to a theme, and win fantastic prizes in the process.
The theme for the 2017 competition is My Backyard. Please click here for more detail about the theme.
This year there are five age-group categories, including an Open category for adults. Prizes for winners of each of the five age-group categories include a Canon EOS 700D camera (RRP: $1029), generously donated by Ted’s Cameras.
Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) is an independent, not-for-profit, professional association that has been promoting the study of media and screen literacy for nearly fifty years. The membership of ATOM includes teachers and lecturers from across all subject disciplines at all levels of education. The membership also includes media industry personnel, a range of media and education organisations and, increasingly, the general public interested in screen literacy and the media.
