WRITTEN STATEMENT

Shooting The Little Things in Nature is like finding little treasures of surprises that make me happy. A simple flower or a little creature has a way to make you stop, notice and appreciate it. When we are on holidays we try to make time to notice things in the environment around us, especially when we are somewhere new. We probably have these things at home in our town but somehow when you are away on holidays you seem to notice the simple things more easily.

The little white daisies were from a photo I liked to zoom up and crop to show them off.

The grub was crawling on the post in a park and its natural colour almost made it blend in with the post. It had spiky parts that covered its body which was different from the smooth post. I tried to take photos of it moving along; it certainly moved fast for something I thought would move slow.

The pink flowers were bunched together, little and soft among the green leaves of the garden. I tried to take all the photos in bright daylight to show the colours of each little thing in nature, making it a happier place for us all.
