The images I have taken resemble a part of who I am and who I want to be. The images are most importantly a representation of both past memories from my life and things that I am yet to discover or learn during my life. The location was a big factor when selecting my images as they are all taken in places that have significant meaning to me. I tried to keep a mood throughout my images that makes people feel as though they are looking back at their life, and for one of my images, that they are looking to future experiences that they need to search for and discover. I feel that my photos have expressed who I am and who I want to be.

Luna Park, St Kilda – St Kilda is an area of Melbourne that is the home of some of my greatest memories and experiences. The iconic theme park in St Kilda represents these memories and the area where they took place.

Johnston Street, Fitzroy – The image of the door was taken in Fitzroy at Johnston Street, firstly because of the name of the street is the same as my family name, and because the door seemed to have a mysterious look about it that represents the things that are still to be discovered during my life.

St Francis Xavier Primary School, Box Hill – The image of the body form in a tree was taken at my primary school in a tree named ‘The Far-away Tree’. During primary school my friends and I spent a lot of time talking and playing around the tree so it is quite special to me.
